Hi everyone, our names are Kid and Trotter! We are specially trained facility dogs at Cleveland Clinic Children's. Facility dogs are highly trained service dogs that work in healthcare settings and perform specialized tasks. As full-time employees of the hospital, we come to work every day with our Child Life Specialist handlers, and it's our job to bring joy to children battling illness.
Our goal for this program is to foster the incredible healing and joy-enhancing power of dogs in pediatric hospital settings. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of people like you to help support important programs like Dogs for Joy, which is 100% philanthropically funded. Together, anything is paw-sible!
